Class 2. Magazine layout

  • Using multiple master templates to create multiple layouts in one publication;
  • Creating a modular grid;

  • Using the built-in text editor;
  • Developing magazine style design. Using styles;

Class 3. Working with a newspaper

Class 4. Book layout

  • Practical work: book layout.

Class 5. Prepress layout preparation

  • Setting up the overprint mode. Controlling the results of overprinting;
  • Using the Separation Preview panel for early detection of printing problems (overprinting, text rasterization, etc.);
  • Managing page placement in the layout. Creating layouts with non-standard layout;
  • Adobe Acrobat technology: purpose and use. Creating Acrobat PDF files;
  • Performing striping with the help of InDesign.
